JURNAL FAKTOR-FAKTOR RISIKO YANG BERKAITAN DENGAN PREVALENSI KURANG TIDUR KRONIS PADA MAHASISWA DI DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA

 

ABSTRACT
Background: Sleep is a part of human biological rhytm that is important for nervous cells relaxation and body stamina recovery. By its complex and multifacet stages, sleep gives a very important role for our daily function. On the other way, chronic sleep loss is an underrecognizedpublic health problem that has a cumulative effects on physical and mental health. It can reduce quality of life and productivity, increase use of health care services, and result in injuries, illness, or deaths.The previous studies in United States and Europe showed that junior high shool and college students had higher risk of suffered from chronic sleep loss. Objectives: To know the prevalence of chronic sleep loss among college students in Special Province of Yogyakarta and its relation with genders, field of the study, and strata of the study.
Methods: This is a quantitative non-experimental research in Cross sectional way with modified Sleep Diagnostic Test Qestionnaire from Maas used as the tool. Subjects were diagnosed suffered from chronic sleep loss when there were three or more statements of this questionnaire that same as with their daily conditions. After the prevalence of chronic sleep loss was counted, the relationship between it and genders (male/female), field of the study (medical field/nonmedical field), and strata of the study (Srata 1/Diploma III) were analized by Chi Square Test.
Results: It was found that 47 of 104 (45.19%) subjects suffered from chronic sleep loss. The prevalence among male students was greater than female, but not statistically significant (25% vs 20.19%, p>0.05), so did the medical field students (29.81% vs 15.38%, p>0.05) and the Diploma III students (25.96% vs 19.23%, p>0.05) The prevalence of chronic sleep loss among college students in Special Province of Yogyakarta was 45.19%, and there were no relationship between genders, field of the study, and strata of the study with this prevalence.

ABSTRACT
Background: Asthma is respiratory disease, it is not very complex but also multifarious which is usually related to the characteristic of the gene and the environment. Asthma is the main factor in increasing the absence and decreasing productivity so it influences the growth of the sufferes as welfare the social level of the family. Asthma sufferers or asthmatic persons will have respiratory problems and malfunctional abilities, the daily activities, productive activity and recreation. Respiratory problems usually can be cured, but the posture of asthmatic persons will change and then is spasm of the respiratory muscle, will cause the wrong system of respiration. This situation will tend to panic the sufferer whenever the asthma attacks. This can be solued by having medical rehabilitation,teraphi exercise which is usually called asthma gymnastic (pre and post) and the frequency of relaps from asthma. 

Methods: This research uses observational methode and the cross sectional approach. The population are Semarang Hospital patients in the year 2003 and there are 80 persons or sample. This sample was taken using accidental random sumpling, who joined the gymnastic and those who clid not also. The dates werw taken by interviewing the respondens.
Result:The chi-square test showed that there is a closed relationship between the asthma gymnastic (pre and post) and the frequency of asthma relaps (p=0,001), with contingency coefficient is 0,648. for the analiyst treatment to convince this t-test in significant level is 5%, the result of the showed that there a closed relationship between the asthma gymnastic and the frequency of asthma relaps(p=0,001). This means that the relationship between the regularity of gymnastic and the frequency of asthma relaps, the chi-square tset showed that there is a closed relationship between the asthma gymnastic and the frequency of asthma relaps(p=0,037), with contingency coefficient is low(0,376).

ABSTRACT
Heart Disease is represent one of disease that menacing life and cause death. Survey of Household Health 1992 state that heart disease occupy the first sequence of death cause in Indonesia. When the heart disease suffered by one ofthe family member and need to be hospitalized, it will cause anxiety to its family, worry and fear if its family die. To manage the anxiety family need an effective coping strategy so that family can take care of its family member.
This is quantitative research with descriptive corellational desain and use cross sectional approach. All of patient family of heart disease which hospitalized in RSUD Ambarawa become subject research. By using consecutive sampling technique, sample is taken totally (n: 33 respondents).
Data was analyzed use univariat and bivariat analyze. Then chi square was used to identify there is any correlation between independent and dependent variable. Results of this study show that the existence of correlation between anxiety level with the coping strategy (p value < 0,001).
The study recommend that the importance of improving family knowledge about heart disease and its treatment, and also giving conseling to family and need to be explored futher by using qualitative desain. Bibliography = 26 (1984-2004)

Background: The purpose of the immunizing is degrading the painfulness number, death, and handicap by giving to immunize complete to baby before 1 year old. Data indicate that in Indonesia degradation of disease amount which can be prevented immunized is down. This efficacy is obtained from governmental hard work and participate the society. A lot of reason causing the happening of dread to mother in polio immunizes pasca to their children; one of them is mother’s knowledge about immunizing polio. This research aim to know whether there is relation between mother’s knowledge about polio immunization by dreading of mother in immunizing polio pasca to their children in Margasari clinic Tasikmalaya in 2007.
Methods: the method is using cross sectional. Subject of the research consists of 37 responder, result of research show the existence of the relation between mother’s knowledge about polio immunization by dreading of mother in immunizing polio pasca to their children, data analysis uses Spearman Rho technique, the result is - 0,658 by significant 0, 01 while examination result got = 0,000 that matter means there is relation meaning between them.
Result: There is positive relation between knowledge levels about polio immunizing with dread of mother re-polio immunizing pasca to child in Margasari clinic Tasikmalaya in 2007.
